Product testing is an important part of the manufacture of ready-mix concrete. This enables us to guarantee to our customers that our ready-mix concrete is always up to strength. As a unit of the province’s market-leading cement manufacturer, we also draw on the expertise of NPC’s scientific staff, which includes support from the Durban central laboratory under the guidance of well-known concrete technologist Rolf Schutte. Additional technological support is available to our corporate NPC scientific staff from our multinational parent company Cimpor, of Portugal, one of the world’s leading cement producers.
