South Coast Plant

South Coast Plant High Res Thumb PA305762-01Located at the Margate Quarry in the beautiful Ivungu River Conservancy, NPC Concrete’s South Coast plant is perfectly situated to serve the building needs of the numerous communities in the region, from Hibberdene in the north down into the upper Eastern Cape in the south and inland into the Kokstad area. The ready supply of aggregate stone in the quarry also makes the South Coast Plant particularly equipped for high production demands. In addition, the South Coast plant is more productive due to the fact that is a wet-batched concrete plant (click here for more details) which means the concrete’s quality and consistency are better than traditional ready-mix concrete. The concrete is completely mixed before it’s loaded into the mixer trucks.

Equipped with a significant fleet of trucks, NPC Concrete’s Margate dispatchers have proven themselves capable of supplying a steady stream of concrete for major projects on the South Coast. Dispatchers also have pump facilities which are suitable for upper-deck and inaccessible pours.
