Branding three concrete selections with easily identifiable characteristics makes carefully engineered mixes an easily available option for the builder.   Of the three ranges, the NPC DURA range has a high extender content making it the most suitable option for durable concrete, especially for structures along the KZN coastline where conditions can be harsh for concrete.   DURA range is also designed for water retaining structures.  This range has been well priced in the market making NPC DURA a very cost effective concrete with additional advantages of durability.  This pricing supports the NPC CIMPOR sustainability and environmental commitment.

Customers requiring concrete which has good durability properties but with a faster strength development than NPC DURA, can turn to the NPC OPTI brand.  Those projects that require very early strength development have the NPC MAXI range to choose from. 

With these branded options as part of its large range of concrete mixes, NPC Concrete’s technical department is well aware of the control needed to ensure that the customer gets what he asks for. Three qualified concrete technologists from the NPC Cimpor laboratory, with a high commitment to excellence, support the NPC Concrete mixes and have implemented a 10 digit mix code which will allow the department to have the highest degree of confidence in differentiating the products.
